How does this event work?Participants submit prompts during the prompting period, create an eligible fan work, and post it during the fill period. You may choose one or more prompts to fill, but filling a prompt isn't required. We accept all small teams content!Pretty simple, huh? You don’t even have to sign up. The STAFF event is designed to be a low-stress, easy participation event. We just want to spread the small teams love!

What is a 'small team'?When we say 'small team,' we mean any team that has never won a championship before.

When can I submit a prompt?Prompting is open from June 28 through July 10.How do I submit a prompt?If you have an Ao3 account, you can submit a prompt directly to the collection here.We've created a google doc with some screenshots of the process here if you need help.What can I prompt?Anything you like! However, prompts must be centered around an eligible team, or a character belonging to one. You may submit shipping prompts that involve a non-small teams character, but the focus should be on the character from the small team.Can I request characters who belong to both a small team and a large one?Yes, but the fanwork must be focused on their time at the eligible small team. So you can request Fang Rui at Wind Howl, or Jiang Botao in Parade, or Xu Bin in 301 Degrees, but not their time playing in Happy, Samsara or Tiny Herb.How many prompts can I submit?As many as you like. Bring out your best bait!Can I submit a prompt if I’m not sure I will create a fill?Of course! There is no sign-up for this event. Participation is on a voluntary basis, but we hope you’ll give it a try.Can I submit NSFW prompts?Yes, but not directly to the Ao3 prompt meme. Please post a link to a google doc or other outside site where you have written your nsfw prompt.How do I claim prompts?If you have an Ao3 account, you can click the “Claim” button next to any prompt you would like to claim. You can do this for as many prompts as you wish to fulfill. Multiple people can claim the same prompt, and you don’t need to submit prompts to claim them.We've created a google doc with some screenshots of the process here if you need help.Do I have to claim a prompt to fill it?Nope! Multiple creators may create works based on the same prompt. You also don’t need to submit any prompts to claim one (or more!).

Do I have to use one of the prompts for my fanwork?No, any fanworks centered on an eligible team will be accepted in the collection. STAFF turns down no small teams content!What kind of fanworks are accepted?If you create it, we’ll accept it! Fanfic, fanart, translations, podfic, meta, graphics, edits, gifsets, fic rec lists, or whatever else you can come up with. All expressions of small teams love are welcomed!Is there a word minimum for fic fills?Submitted fanfic must be a minimum of 500 words.Can I fill my own prompt?Certainly!How many fills can I create?As many as you want! However, we wish to give a gentle reminder that you shouldn’t wreck your sleep schedule for your fills. Small teams love is year-round, you can always finish later.When will fills be posted?The posting period is from July 11 - July 31. However, the collection will remain open after the posting period in case anyone fills posted prompts afterward.How do I post a fill?If you’re posting on Ao3, you can fulfill a claimed prompt by selecting the “Fulfill” button beside the prompt you wish to complete.We have some screenshots of the process here if you need help.For fanworks that aren’t based on a particular prompt, you can post them in the QZGS_STAFFevent2021 event collection directly.If you are posting a fill using a non-Ao3 platform, please let us know by sending us the link and a short description through tumblr, twitter or email.
